I was at the cottage this last weekend with some good friends from university. The walls in the cottage don't reach the ceiling, which led to many hijinx when my sister and I were small. As adults we learned to respect the walls as real walls, but when visitors come up, it all starts again.
My friends learned that if you look over the wall, people will look back, in retaliation. So make sure you have clothes on if you are heading down this path.
Another great (but not funny, sorry!) thing about the cottage is floating and sharing secrets. There is something about discussing the ups and downs of life while being in complete privacy and enjoying less gravitational pull that makes you feel less emotional weight.
Peeking is Dangerous. Floating is Great. Let's enjoy the last days of summer while we can!
