As I Draw: Roncesvalles Map (Finished!!)
You know what makes me feel awesome? Finishing something, framing it, and sending it out into the world. Or in this case, framing it and walking it down to Gurts where Matt praised it over and over again and is going to sell it to unsuspecting people who come in to buy frozen yogurt.
Of course, this project isn't REALLY done since I am working on Part 2 (Fern to Geoffrey) pretty much nonstop. I can't help it. Now that I have gotten started, I am steamrolling ahead. I am also getting pretty good at drawing little Toronto brick houses with one bay window, a small porch, and a pitched roof with a little chimney.
If you are interested in purchasing one, you can email me directly (info at amandafarquharson.com) if you are local/a friend/my mom and would like to pick one up straight from me or you can buy it off of Etsy, or you can walk to Gurts and buy one from them. Selling at Gurts is one of the most exciting parts of having work finally for sale, because I love everything their store sells... especially now!! (Fro-Yo + Candy + Loose Leaf Tea + Roncesvalles Cookies=Happiness).
I was going to finish this off with a rallying cry to spread the word, but actually... I linked on facebook and twitter to the Etsy listing last night and the amount of support that people have freely offered up in spreading the word like crazy, asking for prints, and just generally proving that I have the best support network of all time has been AMAZING. So instead of asking you to spread the word, I just have to say... thank you. For being the best friends and readers ever.
