You Know What Makes Me Happy? Lucy and Mocha
These are Jay's cats, Lucy (Orange) and Mocha (Calico). They are the most hilarious, personality-full cats I have ever known and I love them to pieces. I love them so much that I don't even care that Jay loves them more than me. When I confronted him about it, all he said was, "Well.... They are fluffy."
Lucy basically has people hands and is starving all the time. I suspect she can turn doorknobs. She caught her first mouse this week and didn't really catch on that she could eat it. Lucy always climbs up on the shelf above the computer while I am working so she can oversee my progress. Lucy likes to disguise herself as bedding. She is able to completely crawl up between the covers and tuck herself in beside a pillow so that she is nearly invisible. She likes to run down the hall inside plastic bags. Lucy is basically my cat alter ego. (You see it, right? I can open door knobs and wouldn't eat a mouse if I caught it either!)
Mocha is Lucy's sister and was the runt of the litter. She is still really tiny and ridiculously beautiful. When she gets confused (All. The. Time.) she does the Wishbone head tilt until she either figures it out or tilts her head so far that her whole body rolls over. She can open doors. She caught a bird this week (after seeing Lucy catch the mouse) but she ATE THE WHOLE THING. She likes to climb up on the tv stand and try to catch things in the tv. She is afraid of the cat toys that move but used to carry her favourite ones around in her mouth so Lucy couldn't get them.
I can't wait to see them this weekend. Exploding kitty love! Eeeee!
