'Ask Alma' Intermediate Bearded Iris - by Amanda Farquharson

'Ask Alma' Intermediate Bearded Iris - by Amanda Farquharson

I saw these gorgeous Irises at the Laking Garden of the Royal Botanical Gardens near our house (we have a membership - it's amazing for toddlers, dogs, and botanical painters alike!). Iris has never been my favourite, it always seemed too showy (and many of the colours still make me feel that way) but this peachy version seems more romantic and delicate.

It felt so good to welcome back painting and walking through the gardens to my life... I love you spring! And being off bed rest! And having energy! And the colour peach!
