It's hard to believe how time is flying lately! Molly is eleven months old now, and to be honest, one month old doesn't feel all that far away (but at the same time, it seems forever ago). She just got her first tooth poking through a couple of days ago and is crawling around like a little trouble maker, getting into all kinds of stuff and not giving me a moments peace! (And getting her to sit still for this picture? EPIC.) But I also just LOVE the little person she is. She's so inquisitive and easily surprised and easy going and she's really into sharing right now. Like she will just give her food away to ANYONE, mostly Finn.
In craft land, I am working on my first pair of socks! (Ravelry link) I have just turned the heel on the second sock of the pair. I feel like they fit pretty great, and Jay thinks so too, so I am gifting them to him when they are completed. I foresee many more handmade socks in our future, and was gifted some sock blockers (special feet shaped things to dry your handmade socks on) for Christmas by my awesome mother in law!
I finished this fish cardigan for Molly, too. It's the Goldfish Cardigan by Tin Can Knits. I actually finished a while ago but decided to order vintage buttons off of Etsy, and had to wait for them. Because she has lots of sweaters already, I opted to make the 1-2 year size and it's definitely closer to 2 years than 1 year, so it will be a little while before she can wear it.
I also finished an Aster shirt for me, a vest and bonnet for Molly, and am looking at yarn to make another sweater for me! Phew! What are you all working on? Any tips for crafting with a baby who can crawl? Because not much knitting happens during her waking hours anymore!
