Double pink peonies, which I sketched and photographed from Peony Garden in Hamilton. Jay dropped me off there one afternoon and I wandered all over the property, sketching and taking reference photos. They have SO many gorgeous flowers, I was overwhelmed! This is called a double pink peony, which is the one that comes to mind for most people, I think, when they think of peonies.
In pet related news, Mocha has learned how to knock on the window to get me to open the door.
Finn learned how to "hug" (half jumping on to a seated person and wrapping his front paws around your back) and now he WON'T STOP. This happened when he learned "Paw" and did it every 25 seconds, whether you said "Paw" or not. It's a bit disconcerting to be painting and then have a dog wedge his head into your lap, dead set on hugging you.
Lucy is guarding a hole/burrow entrance in the front lawn, so she hasn't learned anything other than extreme patience and how to completely disappear in tall grass.
