What a Real Gluten Free Pantry Looks Like

What a Real Gluten Free Pantry Looks Like

Gluten-Free-Cupboard-Ink-Drawing.jpg

What is this mess? This is what happens to your baking supplies when you go Gluten Free. And I can still think of Gluten Free flours that I covet (Cup 4 Cup.... wistful sigh).

This is inspired by Andrea Joseph's drawing of her kitchen shelves. I've been wanting to draw mine ever since I saw hers.

I'm thinking of colouring this... but I'm not sure. Did you know, when I was in school I cross hatched EVERYTHING? It was my signature move. And now I never do it, but I miss it. I also miss line drawings. I used to do so many. Line drawings of everything!

Sometimes it's good (and therapeutic) to go back to your roots.

My dad taught me to cross hatch when I was a kid, and I find doing it really meditative and soothing now. It also feels kind of like he's there, giving me pointers.
