Works In Progress: Cathedral Windows Quilt, Teal Baby Sweater and Teal Grandpa Sweater
I missed a couple of weeks, whoops! Maybe I will just update when there are significant changes. Knitting is slooooow, you guys.
Cathedral Windows Quilt: This is back in the WIP pile, and I made a deal with myself that I have to work on it at least a little bit every day before I can work on other stuff, including blog posts. It's for my sister for her wedding in August, so it needs to be [at least] lap quilt sized by then, which means I really need to buckle down and stop procrastinating it! (Cathedral Windows Tutorial I wrote two years ago)
Teal Playdate Cardigan: This is almost done, just needs buttons! It blocked beautifully and slightly larger (thank goodness, because it was looking mighty tiny!). Gotta get this done ASAP because my new niece or nephew is coming in April! (Yarn and Pattern)
Teal Grandpa Sweater: This one is for me! I am swatching it right now. The yarn is Teal Heather Columbia yarn from Imperial Yarn. This yarn company is so great, it is all grown and spun in Oregon, and minimally processed (no acid washes). The colours are so so beautiful... up close it is a teal with flecks of purple, royal blue and green. I feel like it will be like wearing a secret rainbow that people can't see until they are up close. The pattern I am going to make is called the Chocolate Stout Cardigan (Ravelry Link) by Thea Colman. My first swatch was large after blocking so I am trying a second swatch on one size smaller needles.
