PLEIN AIR

Smaller paintings, sketches and notes completed “en plein air”. These are sometimes used as reference and sometimes stand on their own as small studies. Either way, they are all an exercise in painting from life, with all the weather, insects, and sunburns that entails. Occasionally the paintings are completed in the studio or on a second location visit.
